In his Orbit
Spinning calm lost in time,
around the sun that can’t be mine.
He blazes bright so unaware,
of the love I carry,
waiting there.
He never pauses, he never stays,
I remain unnoticed in his blaze.
He burns with a purpose,
unaware..
that, I am more than just soil and air..
He does not know, he cannot see,
the depth of what he means to me.
Though others orbit in their turn,
I am the only one, where life can burn.
He never stops to learn my name,
still, I wait!!! I love the same!
For though he wanders far and wide,
it’s in my heart that he will ever abide.
No matter how the others shine,
his heart will always rest in mine.
He never, never sees my worth,
Doesn’t know, I am his ONLY Earth!!
The other worlds come and go,
cold and distant with no glow.
but I am different..
I remain..
through every storm,
through every pain!!
I take his flames, his fiercest heat,
I turn it into a life, complete.
I use his light to make things bloom,
to paint the sky and to end the gloom.
I cradle seas, I birth the air,
from every hurt I rise, I care.
He sent his heat and in reply,
I turn it into a vibrant sky..
Aroras dance, where flames have burned,
in every storm a new love I have earned.
Though he is blind to what I give,
it’s in his warmth, that I must live!!
For I am the Earth..
I make him whole,
I’ll be the only keeper of his soul.
No matter where his light may roam,
He is unaware that I will be his heart,
his ONLY and FOREVER HOME!
