Chaos in her Calm..
Settled by the sea, far from the peaks,
A life she never wanted, the void so deep,
Sitting by the seashore, one fine evening,
Gazing at the dramatic skies, warm colors bleeding.
Swallowing pains she whispers
“Oh my Sunshine, please wait for a while”
Chaos swirls in her mind, tangled and wild..
Yearning to touch the sun, so fierce, so bright,
Slips through her fingers, into the deep nights.
She watches it blaze, her heart in its hold,
The warmth she craves remains distant and cold.
The cool breeze teasing twisting curls on the wind,
She longs for a love she can’t begin..
The sun glows fiercely, just out of her reach,
A light she adores, but can never hold a grip.
Tethered by forces, anchoring her low,
She watches it fade, afraid to let go..
Her heart in chaos, knows deep inside,
The sun is a mirage, on the horizon wide.
What if her Sunshine fades before she can feel
the warmth of its light, the love that is real..!!
Afraid to lose what she can’t possess,
She watches it sink, caught in the mess
As twilight deepens, shadows entwine,
Grappling with the choices, lost in the line..
Afraid of the dark, that will come when it’s gone,
She wonders if she’s already lost what she longed?
In the quiet of the night, her spirit takes flight,
Returning to reality, yet lost in the dreams of
uniting with her Sunshine..
